ABOUT K12 SUMMER WORKBOOKS

What if learning felt like an adventure?

Learning should be fun and exciting. So we make free STEM lessons and little practice apps that start with a question, not a worksheet. If you can read, you can use it.

OUR MISSION

Growing a new generation of thinkers and learners.

We start with curiosity. Ask a question, explore it, and keep going as far as you want. If you can read, you can use it.

X is for eXplore

Every lesson starts with a question, not a quiz. Our apps end in X because X stands for eXplore.

Free for everyone

The lessons and apps here are free and public. No sign-up.

No sign-up

The apps run in your browser. Anything they save, like your score, stays on your device.

A friend to school

Supplemental learning aids for home, summer or class. Not a school, and not a curriculum replacement.

WHY WE ARE HERE

Schools and teachers do important work every day. We add something extra.

Here, each learner can follow their own questions, at their own pace.

We use AI tools to help us research, build and check our lessons. Most lessons list the sources they use.

Our goal: help everyone move forward, and beyond.

FROM THE FOUNDER

How it started

It started with summer — and a simple wish: make something fun for my own kids.

Custom worksheets were the first idea. They worked… kind of.

But they felt dry and bland. Checking boxes isn’t the same as lighting up a mind.

Then the shift: asking questions — the right questions. That’s when learning got exciting again.

Ask better questions. That’s how better thinkers — and a brighter future — get started.

THE METHOD

Ask. Explore. Apply.

Three simple steps in every lesson.

STEP 1

Ask

Start with a curiosity question. Not a quiz, just something to wonder about.

STEP 2

Explore

See what, how, why and when with simple pictures and examples.

STEP 3

Apply

Try it, spot it in real life and talk it over with a grown-up.
